Jeff Larson is currently serving as an elected official in the position of At-Large Councilman on the Porter County Council, and has previously held the position of Vice President of the council. Personal and Professional Experience Jeff Larson is a resident of Chesterton, 30 plus year Porter County small business owner, and previously an almost 20 year Building Trades educator and coach at Chesterton High School. He has served as a volunteer reserve police officer, was a charter member of Rebuilding Together (previously Christmas in April) and also served as an advisor to the Portage Building Trades Board. Jeff's additional elected experiences include being the Past President of the Liberty Township Advisory Board.
Jeff's Background For more than five years, Jeff was a member of the Porter County Parks Foundation. Currently, he is volunteering as a trustee at Chesterton Cemetery where he has served for over 17 years. Recently, Jeff was honored to be chosen and given the 2019 Volunteer of the Year Duneland award.
About Jeff The Larson family has lived in the Duneland community for 132 plus years. Public service and volunteerism has been part of Jeff's lineage with past relatives acting as servants and elected officials. Jeff has been a lifetime community servant and leader in Porter County.
Jeff Larson is a family man and loving father to his daughter, Julia Grace Larson.
