Mark Leyva is not a career politician. He's a regular citizen, a regular guy who pays close attention to politics. He has a passion to help others. His son is a proud member of the US Army, 18.5 years in. Mark is a student of the United States Constitution and believes it should be preserved and like many of our fallen heroes-- Mark Leyva believes our Sovereignty and our Constitution should be protected.
About Mark Mark is a former Union Steelworker and Carpenter who is now a working-class, self-employed carpenter. He believes in eliminating wasteful Government spending and bring jobs back home. One method of accomplishing more jobs is economic growth-- Which is giving tax breaks to "working" class Americans, including a significant personal income tax reduction for "working" class Americans. Mark's Pillars of Thought
Making the USA a more competitive world-market will only happen with common-sense legislation, or in some cases, de-regulation. The result will increase Northwest Indiana’s largest industry-- Steel production. Northwest Indiana is the largest Steelmaking region in the United States, and our country has shut down too many steel mills over the past years. Mark Leyva’s economic and jobs plan will increase Steel production, and bring more steel working jobs to Northwest Indiana, not less. Mark believes in term limits, family values and freedom of Religion. Mark is Roman Catholic and believes one of the most important values Americans have is faith. |
