A safe community directly affects everyone’s well-being, prosperity, and sense of peace. Our police, fire, and first responders are the cornerstone of public safety and must be respected and supported. 2. Address Infrastructure Needs in a Fiscally Responsibly Manner We need to maintain our infrastructure in a fiscally responsible manner before we have to overspend by replacing and rebuilding. By establishing sustainable funding solutions, I will aim to address critical infrastructure needs and foster a well-maintained environment that enhances the overall quality of life for the residents of Porter County. 3. Increase Government Transparency Access to transparent government information allows citizens to make informed decisions about their lives, communities, and the future. Building trusting relationships with the people in our community is key. I am committed to implementing regular communication channels, ensuring accessible meeting information, and engaging in public outreach. 4. Maximize Community Resources Making residents aware of available community resources is crucial for ensuring that individuals and families can access the support and services they need. |
