Center Township Trustee Casey Schmidt is a graduate of Valparaiso High School and Valparaiso University, Casey truly cares about the City of Valparaiso and takes his representative position seriously and with Pride. Casey is a loving husband to his wife Trisha and dedicated father to his three sons, Mason, Miles, and Bradley. Mason a graduate of VHS, Miles & Bradley attend Ben Franklin Middle school.

Currently the President of Valparaiso City Council and a member of the Redevelopment Commission, on council Casey, enjoys representing our city residents and has actively pursued his commitments that he campaigned on advocating for city-wide street paving and sidewalk program, full support for our Valparaiso Schools, support of new facilities for our youth sports programs along with our city parks, supports new business job creation, while supporting our current businesses as well.
While our city is growing, it’s important to continue to provide Valpo’s safe, healthy, and family friendly environment while maintaining Valpo’s Character and Values. Common-Sense leadership is a must! While running for City Council Casey was endorsed by Valparaiso Firefighters Local 1124 and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 76. Casey 100% supports our 1st responders and backs a safety-first approach for our terrific City. His record shows that support. Being inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and the Valparaiso Crusaders Hall of Fame, are examples of Casey’s work ethic, appreciation of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership qualities. Casey will continue fulfilling his promises to the city and to all residents of Center Township. |
